Hi this is pretty self explainitory but basically I want to know this:
I'm currently living in GA, my family is millitary so we move often, I get SSI but not much because I just barely qualify for it. Anyways the little bit I do get does help with food and what not but we may be moving to Belgium, What I would like to know is will I lose my SSI or is there someway I can get it back once I move? Thanks for any help and sorry for any incorrect spelling, new laptop. lol

My guess is that you will almost certainly lose it. Each country has their own disability plans for the various types of disabled people and I highly doubt that your SSI will follow you if you're planning to live in a different country. You'll have to contact that country's disability offices and see what they can do for you.
Of course that's just my guess and it could be very well off. Perhaps you should call your SS office and inquire.

No, you won't be getting SSI if you move to another country. You'll have to check with Beljam to see what plans they have

These other two are right. Once you move to another country, you will be under whatever plan it has for those with disabilities. The longest you can be out of the US and keep your SSI for is like 30 days, I think.

30 days? I thought it was 6 months? Or maybe that's only for the UK
